The name of the film: Lucy (From Biopsychology Lesson)

  

In pharmacotherapy lecture, we learned some chemical drugs and they have negative impact on development of brain or hormones. The result of increasing and decreasing of some hormones levels can lead to some mental or psychological problems. In actual fact, CPH4 is produced by pregnant women and the responsibility of this enzyme is that it is helpful for the activation of  babies' neurological development. It also provides power and energy for bones of babies who are in the womb. This information is true but ıf adults consume high dose of synthetic CPH4, their brain cannot change or they cannot have extraordinary power. In the film, Lucy consumed high dose of synthetic CPH4, she started to read others' mind, remembered her old memories, managed basic electronic devices  and she also manipulated her metabolic activities but she didn't feel any emotions as a robot. In my opinion, the message is that ıf people have supernatural power, they cannot feel emotions so after this situation, human beings transform to new species. I think that losing ability of feeling is a severe problem for humanity and this is the beginning of war.

   In the first lecture of the biopsychology, we talked about electrical impulse between brain and legs. Actually, this electrical impulse is helpful for coordination of our movements. Other electrical messages or power are between two neurons .When dendrites of the one neuron and terminal button of other neuron kiss each other, they transfer messages or information. Near the end of the film, Lucy talked about communication of cells. Cells can transfer messages each other owing to electrical impulse. When cells come together, they create a matter.  This matter changes depend on person. People are different from each other and they believe uniqueness. Lucy said that " Existence represent endless but we encoded everything to make sense of existence". I don't agree with this idea limitations of our existence are time and numbers but existence finish with death so existence is not endless in real world. People want to be powerful and they can do everything with technology but if they use technology badly, imbalance and chaos can emerge. At the end of the film, Lucy  turned in to new generation computer and she died physically but she exists in every electronic device owing to her power.

   In this film, most of the information is artificial because it is a science fiction film. However, I believe that this film involves some messages and director demonstrates them indirectly. It means that he use artificial theory to take attention  about evolution. Last year, I watched  the movie which is "Transcendence " and I want to say that both Lucy and Transcendence include power of the technology and evolution. They contain similar points and these are: science, evolution and artificial theories and surrealism.
